How to hire a freelancer designer for your work at the lowest cost

Hello crafters! Hope you are doing well with your little cute business. As being a one-man army in the business managing everything from customer communication to craft creation and packing and delivery, it gets hectic sometimes. And if you just started out you can't afford employees at the initial phase. In this post, we will talk about how you can hire freelancer workers for some tasks that can be performed remotely and you will save a lot of time from learning those things and doing them by yourself.

In this post, I will share the places from where you can hire people to do digital tasks mostly related to website and or content editing and graphics-related work if your business requires it.

There are many online marketplaces where you can hire micro freelancers for small tasks. Some of them are Fiverr and Upwork. These two websites are the most popular and you will get freelancers for almost anything. From graphics designing to coding your Shopify store or your eCommerce store managed with WordPress. Upwork is a standard website used by many big businesses as well and you will get high-quality freelancers from there. so if your budget allows, I will recommend Upwork for all the freelance work that you need help with. There are ratings and reviews from past clients that are shown on each freelancer's profile so you can see that based on that matrix you can hire the best match.

The second popular website for hiring talented freelancers is Fiverr. Fiverr is a very popular freelancing platform where you will find freelancers at very low rates. There are lots of categories of freelancers available. From virtual assistant for your day-to-day work handling and bookkeeping to professional website designers and graphic designers available on Fiverr. Due to high competition between the sellers, you will surely get any task done even with a low budget. There are lots of gigs available for just $5 and you will still get quality work with them.

The platform is very well managed and you will get a lot of control over the revisions until you are satisfied. If you think your task is bit different and gigs are not matching with the work required, you can put a request with the description of the task and other freelancers who can complete it will bid on it. You will get proposals from lots of freelancers and then you can select the best matching profile for your task. The best thing is this system of requests is completely free so you can do it for all the tasks you want a freelancer for.

Upwork works moreover a contract base and if you have a big task that may require lots of work like SEO for your website or content creation, you can work on hourly rates as well instead of fix cost. You will get a lot more flexibility and a pool of professional workers that will deliver the highest quality works.

Except for these two freelance platforms, there are many other places where you can hire someone for your work. Facebook groups and Reddit are some places I have found some really good freelancers for my tasks. You can join your topic-related groups and post your requirements. In this way, you will need to trust that person if you start working with him/her directly via Facebook only. Or, if you want a secure way, you can bring him/her to any freelancing platform and then hire him on that platform. This way you will get the security of work completion and the freelancer will get security on payment from your side.

Do you have any other places in mind or did you have a good or bad experience working with any freelancer? do comment below and we will discuss it. :)
